Follow Frances Floresca Baldwin on her journey to Miss Georgia USA as Miss Fort Eisenhower USA.
Yes, married women can NOW compete in the Miss USA/Miss Universe system, and I believe that is a large step forward. There are pageants for married women, and while I believe they have their place and are wonderful programs, Miss USA/Miss Universe is such a large platform!
You can be a wife and a mother and still change the world!

Miss Fort Eisenhower USA’s Platform
Miss Fort Eisenhower USA will be focused on two initiatives.
School Choice: As someone who benefited from school choice, works in education policy, and has a toddler, she plans to fight for more access to education options for all children in this state regardless of income, background, race, or learning ability.
Every child deserves is different and deserves an education environment that works for them.
Georgia should hopefully be passing school choice legislation soon that will expand more opportunities for families around the state. While it is not a universal expansion quite yet, I would love to urge state lawmakers to make it more universal.
This also means I support any type of education choice and removing barriers for families to be able to access them.
Empowering Military Families: It is not easy being a part of a military family. As a military wife, I want to promote community, resources, and opportunities for military families (children, parents, and spouses) to be able to face their unique struggles and challenges.
In fact, I am still tying my school choice platform to this as military families should be able to find a school that works for their children.
Also, it is time to also fight to ensure more affordable housing for military families by removing government barriers that make them expensive. It should also be easier for military family members to find work as I fight for occupational licensing reform and making work and ensuring more flexible work.
